Humanities Teacher | Redbridge Outstanding School
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding mixed-gender secondary school in Redbridge to recruit a high-calibre Humanities Teacher for an ASAP start. This full-time, temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing faculty. We are looking for a versatile practitioner with a passion for History at KS3 and KS4, who is also comfortable delivering engaging Geography and RE lessons at KS3. You will have an inspirational approach to the curriculum, ensuring students across all key stages achieve their highest potential.

Responsibilities
Teach engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 as a subject specialist
Deliver inspirational Geography and RE lessons at KS3, fostering a broad understanding of the humanities
Support students in achieving academic excellence through a creative and challenging curriculum
Collaborate with a department of specialist teachers to maintain an outstanding quality of learning
Participate in a strong culture of professional development and collaborative planning
Implement strategies to help students reach their highest potential in public examinations
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in History or a related Humanities discipline
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching History at KS4 (GCSE)
Must have the right to work in the UK
