Hours: 2 days a week - either: Tue,Wed and Thursday 8/9am - 4/5pm

Family are flexible for right candidate
Salary based on experience £20 gross per hour

About the Role

A lovely family in Sevenoaks are looking for a caring, experienced nanny to look after their delightful one-year-old boy. Mum will be returning to work soon and works hybrid (from home two to three days per week), while Dad works primarily from home but needs to focus on his work during the day.

This is a sole charge role during the day, focused mainly on caring for and engaging with the family’s little boy. The family are looking for someone who enjoys this wonderful toddler stage, creating a fun and stimulating environment with lots of opportunities for learning through play.

Typical duties will include feeding, nap routines, preparing meals, playing, and short trips out to the park or local activities. During nap times, the family would appreciate some light housekeeping, such as keeping play areas tidy, unloading the dishwasher, or doing a quick tidy-up to help keep the home running smoothly — though childcare will always be the main priority.

A French or Polish-speaking nanny would be a huge bonus for this family, though not essential.

Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive, loving care for the family’s one-year-old son
Planning age-appropriate, educational, and engaging activities
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
Supporting the daily routine, including feeding and nap times
Taking the child on local outings (walks, playgroups, park trips)
Light housekeeping during nap times – tidying play areas, washing up, or light laundry
Communicating openly with parents about the child’s day and development

Candidate Requirements
Previous experience caring for babies and toddlers in a similar role
A warm, nurturing, and proactive approach
Knowledge of early years development and enthusiasm for learning through play
Excellent communication and reliability
Bonus: Ability to speak French or Polish
Up-to-date DBS, First Aid, and excellent references
