As a Chef at Sodexoin Nuffield Hospital, Parkside, London , you’ll play a vital rolein preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance theoverall dining experience . You’ll beresponsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dishmeets our high standards . What you’ll do:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
• Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, COSHH, and fire safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
• Ensure stock control and rotation procedures are maintained

What you bring:

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds 706/ 1 & 2 Equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience as a chef
• Level 2 Food hygiene certificate ( level 3 would be desirable)
• Allergen Awareness
• Diets cook's certificate would be desirable
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit
• Good communication skills and customer focus
• Good financial awareness
