Project Manager
The Vacancy
Our forward-thinking Project Management team is going from strength to strength and we want to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate level Project Manager, ideally from a Building Surveying background, to help with our growth across the London region. This is a vital role designed to expand the team and support with the delivery of a variety of exciting, innovative projects and help nurture our existing client base.
Working directly with our Senior Management team, you will be encouraged, supported, and trusted to get involved with business development in various forms to help maximise our service offering. We have successfully developed an extensive portfolio of lucrative projects, including city centre high-rise façade remediation works, new build retail and industrial units, Cat A & Cat B office fitouts, high-end residential amenity space fitouts and complex lab fitouts to name but a few.

Main responsibilities:
End-to-end project management of small and large commercial refurbishment/fit-out projects including reports, tenders/bids and liaising with internal and external contractors
Act as the face of Hollis and contribute to the growth of our project management team across various sectors
Take the lead on refurbishment and fit-out projects, varying in complexity across commercial real estate sectors (CAT A + CAT B fit outs, industrial sheds, retail units, residential, leisure etc.)
Opportunity to support with facade remediation projects and work on other fire safety instructions
Line manage and mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the direction of the Project Management offering across the region
Integrate and work closely with existing Associates and Director leads to facilitate exceptional product delivery
Support the continued growth and development of a strong, dynamic team within the London region on a social and professional level
Manage a lucrative existing client base, build and maintain client relationships
Support with business development through attending events, meetings and other networking opportunities in the real estate industry
Please note that the immediate workload would be on existing buildings and would not be focussed on design and build phases. Project values range from £1/2million up to 20-30 million on average.
Key requirements
Experienced managing Project Management instructions across a variety of commercial (real estate) refurbishment projects, specifically office and retail buildings
Experienced delivering refurbishment/fit-out projects at values of £1m-£20m+
Commercially minded and motivated to support Hollis' goals for developing the wider PM service, cross-selling services and sourcing new business opportunities (BD)
Chartered Project Manager in MRICS or MAPM - or desire to work towards in the near future
Dynamic, forward-thinking, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to take ownership of your work
Able to take the lead on project delivery from start to finish and capable of hitting the ground running
Client facing and able to manage relationships effectively
Line management experience advantageous
