Learning Support Assistant - Chiswick - September Start - Temp to Perm - MLD

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a long-term vacancy at a welcoming and supportive special needs school in Chiswick.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, resilient and experienced Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of staff and will play a vital role in providing tailored support for pupils in a challenging but rewarding class environment.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with a range of special educational needs in and out of the classroom

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

• Helping to manage classroom behaviour with patience, empathy, and consistency

• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage learning and personal growth

Ideal Learning Support Assistant:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a special needs or challenging setting.

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• A caring, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to supporting young people.

• Committed to making a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
