We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the heart of Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students through the performing arts and help them develop valuable communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and participation
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
* Organise and support school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide initiatives

Requirements:

* QTS
* Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
