QSHE Coordinator in London Area

Job description

There’s a permanent opportunity for you here at Dalkia UK as a QSHE Coordinator. We are looking for someone to be based wither in our London or Birmingham office. There will also be an expectation to travel to sites when needed.

Reporting to the QSHE Director with a responsibility to support the QSHE Director and wider team with general administrative and H&S related tasks. To also provide support with contract mobilisations and to manage and ensure effective use of the QSHE related specialist systems that are used across the business.

The Role

  • Manage the Lightfoot Driver Behavioural System on behalf of the QSHE Director
  • Manage the First to Help You Lone Working System on behalf of the QSHE Director
  • Manage and provide support at Super user level on Flex Manager, the QSHE management tool
  • Provide reports and statistics to the QSHE director covering a range of topics as required by the business.
  • Manage and support with SYPOL, the business COSHH management system.
  • Manage the Document change request process for the whole business
  • Ordering of PPE and any other safety equipment as required for the QSHE team and to support during mobilisations of new contracts
  • Liaising with the Contract Operations Team and QSHE Team to ensure consistency of
  • approach across the business when it comes to QSHE Documentation Policies & Procedures.
  • Creating logbooks / QSHE Files when required for new mobilising contracts and existing contracts when support has been requested by the QSHE Director
  • General Administration for the QSHE Team such as ordering forms, stationery, raising and managing orders to close out and managing the team diary.
  • Be prepared to attend training courses as requested by the QSHE Director.
  • Taking minutes at meetings and production of appropriate reports for the QSHE Director.
  • Any other duties as required by the QSHE Director.
  • Travel to other Dalkia offices and contracts when requested by the QSHE Director and that may require occasional overnight stays.

Hours of Work

  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

  • Flexible approach to all work activities and a willingness to support other business activities as appropriate
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety
  • Good PC Skills – word, excel knowledge is essential
  • Professional approach to work in all areas
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Methodical and precise approach to undertaking repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to travel to Dalkia offices and Contracts

Non-essential (Nice to Have)

  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety (Training to be provided)
  • Experience of implementing and reviewing systems
  • ERP experience (Training to be provided)
  • Auditing Experience (Training will be provided)
  • An understanding of Facilities management and the related statutory requirements.
