Advanced Practitioner - Looked After Children's Team
* Develop and deliver projects which further the knowledge of the service and/or improve outcomes for individual children and young people.
* Work with the team managers on performance improvements strategies, improving compliance with national legislative requirements and local policies.
* Mentor and support less experienced members of the social care workforce to build the skills and knowledge of the whole service.
* Provide specialist permanency planning input into complex cases held by other social workers.
* Assist in managing the daily duty team on behalf of the service.
* Eepresent the service in external multi-agency partnerships.
* Any other duties reasonably requested by management.
* Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council's Policies and Procedures. Requirements of this Advanced Practitioner role: * A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
