Occupational Therapist - Housing Team
Housing Occupational Therapist
Location: North London
Rate: Up to £38 per hour
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid working
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend
This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with proven housing experience who can confidently manage assessments and adaptations to support residents in maintaining independence within their homes. Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out housing and adaptation assessments
- Recommending and overseeing minor and major adaptations
- Managing a caseload including Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)
- Working collaboratively with housing, social care and multidisciplinary teams
- Producing clear and accurate reports and recommendations
- Qualified Occupational Therapist
- HCPC registration
- Experience working within housing is essential
- Local authority experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
