Role:
This role is for an experienced SAP Finance and Tax specialist responsible for implementing, integrating, and optimising financial and tax solutions within SAP environments, particularly S/4HANA. The individual will ensure robust indirect tax compliance, manage integrations with third-party tax tools, and lead stakeholder engagement for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and support on indirect tax matters, including Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP Finance solutions, with a strong focus on tax functionalities such as SAP Native Tax.
• Lead the integration of third-party tax solutions like Onesource/Global Next and Thomson Reuters Tax One with SAP applications.
• Manage and execute system interfaces between different ERP systems and integrate third-party applications with SAP.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of custom solutions within the SAP environment, leveraging technical knowledge.
• Support and optimise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including knowledge of Ariba and Open Text VIM.
• Perform comprehensive configuration in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and manage Idoc (Intermediate Document) processes.
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of intercompany transactions within SAP.
• Develop and utilise S/4HANA reporting capabilities, including SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) and S/4HANA analytics.
• Lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement, including requirement gathering sessions and Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops.
• Implement and support SAP DRC for specific regional entities, particularly in Brazil (ESSENTIAL)
• Implement and maintain Thomson Reuters Tax One for tax reporting and compliance.

Essential Skills:

• Tax Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of Indirect Tax, including Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Experience with SAP Native Tax.
  • Implementation experience with Thomson Reuters Tax One for reporting and compliance.
• SAP Finance & Integration:
  • Solid experience in SAP Finance (FI) configuration.
  • Proficiency in Idoc management.
  • Experience with intercompany transaction processes.
  • Strong experience in integrating SAP with third-party applications (e.g., Onesource/Global Next) and other ERP systems.
• SAP S/4HANA & Reporting:
  • Experience in S/4HANA Reporting, including SAP DRC and S/4HANA analytics.
  • Specific SAP DRC implementation experience for entities in Brazil.
  • Added Advantage: S/4HANA working experience.
• Process & Solution Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including Ariba and Open Text VIM.
  • Added Advantage: Knowledge in developing custom solutions and general technical knowledge.
  • Added Advantage: BTP (Business Technology Platform) solution knowledge.
• Consulting & Stakeholder Management:
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading requirement gathering sessions.
  • Facilitation skills for F2S (Fit-to-Standard) workshop sessions.
