Payroll Supervisor

With operations based near Heathrow, they play a critical role in keeping airport services running smoothly and supporting thousands of passenger journeys every day.

As the business continues to grow and invest in its UK operations, they are now seeking a proactive Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and being the key link between HR, Finance, and an outsourced payroll provider.

The Role

As Payroll Coordinator, you will:

• Act as the primary contact for payroll queries, liaising between HR, Finance, and the external payroll bureau.

• Ensure compliance with PAYE, HMRC regulations, and holiday pay requirements.

• Review and check bureau outputs, investigating and resolving discrepancies before sign-off.

• Collate, validate, and input data relating to holiday hours, overtime, absences, and allowances.

• Proactively chase information to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.

• Provide support on ad-hoc payroll projects and process improvements.

The Candidate

We're looking for a payroll professional with experience working alongside an outsourced payroll provider. You'll need a solid understanding of PAYE, HMRC, and holiday pay rules, and the confidence to query, challenge, and resolve payroll issues. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential.

Experience within a transport, logistics, or shift-based operational environment would be advantageous but not essential.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits
