Discover the Role
The Tax Services Onboarding Executive will be responsible for accurate preparation and filing of tax authority registration documents for new and existing VAT and IPT clients, alongside support with the completion of client contractual documentation and other onboarding activities. They will require strong client relationship management and efficient customer service delivery skills to support a team of global VAT and IPT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for new clients, post-sale, and assist them with the registration process across EU/EEA authorities to obtain tax IDs
- Create and file accurate company registrations for our clients within strict deadlines
- Regular correspondence and contact with clients, network offices and EU/ EEA Tax Authorities in relation to registrations
- Monitor progress of tax registrations for every client in every territory
- Develop and implement new operational processes for client registrations to enhance service delivery and drive cost efficiencies
- Build and maintain Territory Registration Manuals and supporting templates, updating iteratively as required
- Responsible for updating any changes in address or directors, where required, in each tax jurisdiction where the client is registered
- Liaise with clients to collect outstanding KYC documents
- Keep up to date with changes in local tax legislation in relation to registration processes
- Build a first-rate professional relationship with clients
- Build a first-rate professional relationship with local offices
- Use specific software programs and maintain company databases as required
- Various other miscellaneous tasks as instructed from time to time
Key Requirements
- Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree holder in finance, accountancy or business-related disciplines preferred
- ACCA/CTA qualifications are desirable
- Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and communication skills, with strong ability to plan ahead and organise
- Analytical structured mind set with ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and preferably a second language
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook is essential
- German proficiency would be beneficial
