What’s the opportunity?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Treasury function and influence how the Bank assesses and manages financial risk. You will develop risk models, support ICAAP stress testing, enhance portfolio analytics, and contribute to key regulatory and strategic initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Credit, and the wider business, your insights will help guide decision‑making at the highest levels.

You will enjoy hybrid working, with 3 days each week in our London office and 2 days from home.

How You Will Make an Impact
Develop and maintain financial risk models covering credit, regulatory, market, and liquidity risk.
Conduct quantitative analysis to identify and evaluate risk exposures across the organisation.
Produce insightful MI and dashboards that support management decisions, including ECL reporting and portfolio performance monitoring.
Support ICAAP production, scenario analysis, and stress testing activities.
Contribute to market‑facing initiatives (including British Business Bank EGS schemes) through pre‑ and post‑completion reporting.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed risk thinking into business processes and strategic planning.
Support reporting automation using tools such as Power BI, Python, and SQL.
Assist with ad‑hoc treasury and risk projects, including regulatory changes or technology enhancements.
What You Will Bring
A relevant academic background or practical experience in finance, economics, mathematics, risk, analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with confidence working with financial or risk data.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Coding skills (Python, SQL, VBA) or a willingness to learn — highly beneficial.
Experience using or interest in data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply.
Curiosity, a growth mindset, and a collaborative approach.
