Decarbonisation Manager

Insight Executive Group are working with a global FM company who are looking to hire a Decarbonisation Manager on a full-time permanent role paying a starting salary of up to £60k.

The candidate will have a Soft FM/catering background as well as a strong understanding on decarbonisation and working towards “net-zero” policies.

You will monitor progress, providing strategic direction, challenge, and insight to service line SMEs by guiding solutions, actions, and initiatives. The Decarbonisation Manager will ensure that each service line is on track to meet its environmental targets while maintaining operational excellence.

The successful Decarbonisation Manager will be responsible for:

* core service lines to develop deployment ready decarbonisation strategies, and sign off plans, milestones and KPI’s with MD’s, Heads of function, and other senior leadership team members as needed to ensure teams can be held to account for delivery

* developing and implement effective reporting and analysis tools to ensure that the delivery of all service line sustainability activity is delivered to scope and within the agreed milestones

* ensuring that SME’s, source, test, evidence and implement suitable solutions that are cost effective and impact on the delivery of action plan targets

* sharing data with Net Zero and Technical functions and report progress of individual service line plans

The Decarbonisation Manager will be able to demonstrate:

* experience in supporting FM service lines to create and implement sustainability focused strategy

* experience of working across a matrix organisation with complex RACI and stakeholder groups to manage (including at a group level)

* ability to use data and other metrics to inform the development of solutions and effectiveness of their performance
