Head of Growth- Canada
Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?
How we started:
Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D’Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we’ve grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise. What started as a challenger idea has become one of the most significant healthcare platforms operating globally today.
Where we are now:
We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists.
In 2025, HeliosX helped treat over 1.7 million patients worldwide. We reached £781m in revenue, delivering +337% year-on-year growth and cementing our position as the clear market leader in the UK. In 2025 our weight-loss treatments helped our patients lose 8.5 million kilograms of excess weight; contributing to an estimated 1,300 fewer cardiac events. That’s not just growth; that’s measurable, life-changing impact at scale. We're operating across four markets, with successful launches in Germany and Canada, and growing our reach in the US.Where we’re going:
2026 is a step-change year. Our ambition is to reach £1.6bn in revenue, expand from four to eight global markets and significantly broaden our condition and treatment portfolio. Over the coming years, you’ll help shape HeliosX into a truly world-leading healthcare partner; one that combines scale, speed, and clinical rigour to redefine how personalised care is delivered. Joining HeliosX now means building systems, teams, and products that will define the next decade of digital healthcare, and doing work that genuinely improves lives, at global scale.
There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an ambitious and seasoned B2C growth leader with a strong track record in managing multi-million-pound budgets to drive acquisition, retention, and optimise monetisation. As our Head of Growth, you’ll be analytical, data-driven, collaborative, and ready to roll up your sleeves to impact performance on a weekly basis.
Our goal is to become a truly global digital healthcare brand, and in Q4 2025, we launched in Canada.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our cross functional teams whilst having full autonomy to drive profitable growth for the Canadian market.
What you’ll do
- Own a series of business metrics across acquisition, retention, loyalty, and financial performance for the Canadian market
- Create and execute our overall performance acquisition strategy, with a strong focus on LTV/CAC optimisation on a weekly basis.
- Manage budget allocation across the performance marketing mix, including paid social, search, display, shopping ads, connected TV, influencers, affiliates, podcasts & more.
- Partner with Product, Creative, Brand, Clinical, and Analytics teams to enhance our multichannel CRM programs.
- Actively identify, investigate and test tools or mediums to incorporate into our existing practices and channel mix. We have a thriving experimentation culture and we want you to be an active contributor to it.
- Leverage performance marketing analytics to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points and identify opportunities for the CRO team. Think funnels, campaign performance and trend analysis, all paired with relevant customer insights.
- Hire, manage and mentor a team of best-in-class growth marketers and ensure they maintain a minimum level of fire and energy to continuously exceed KPIs beyond ad-level acquisition metrics.
- Work with our commercial leader to create comprehensive go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, promotional plans, and bottom up forecasts for every business planning cycle.
What you’ll bring to HeliosX
- 5+ years of professional experience in D2C high performance environments (ideally with experience of managing a budget of at least £3M).
- You'll have strong knowledge of the Canadian market
- Very strong knowledge of user acquisition channels (especially PPC and paid social). While we don’t expect you to be managing campaign performance on a day-to-day basis, you will be leading the team with prioritisation, roadmapping, and working closely with our partners at Google, Meta, etc.
- Success driving projects to improve LTV, monetisation and/or retention.
- Experience managing highly complex and ambiguous performance-related situations, including stakeholder management.
- You have worked closely with Product and CRO teams to feed into their roadmaps based on campaign performance and competitor insights.
- You take pride in hiring A-players for your team and you’re experienced in building world-class Growth/Performance Marketing organisations.
- You’re highly analytical and data-driven. Sometimes maybe even too much. And you’re able to draw insights from ongoing analysis and connect them to customer problems/needs.
- Above all, you’re growth-minded and known for solving performance challenges and successfully growing your P&L. You don’t know it all, but you’re a fast learner. You’re very experienced, but don’t have an ego because you understand every channel and tactic performs differently for every brand/market. When you don’t have all the answers in front of you, you’re resourceful to seek them. You have good days and bad days, but the performance improvement journey keeps you energised and motivated.
