The Year 2 Teacher will plan and deliver structured and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will lead phonics, reading fluency and early writing lessons while supporting pupils’ emotional and social development. The Year 2 Teacher will be a valued member of the Harrow team, contributing to planning meetings, assessment moderation and KS1 development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver well-sequenced Year 2 Teacher lessons
- Support phonics and guided reading sessions
- Track assessment data and plan next steps
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Maintain strong relationships with families in Harrow
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven KS1 teaching experience
- Confidence teaching as a Year 2 Teacher
- Available for January 2026
