DT, Food & STEM Teacher (Summer Term Cover) | Barnet

We are working with a world-class, prestigious school in Barnet seeking an expert DT and Food Teacher for a full-time, temporary summer term placement (13th April – 17th July). We are looking for a specialist with proven experience in both the workshop and the kitchen who can maintain the school's high standards of academic rigour.

The Role The successful candidate will lead by example across a diverse timetable, providing the technical support required for Key Stage 3 Food Technology and Product Design rotations. This position is vital for the Year 13 Product Design cohort (3 lessons per fortnight), requiring a specialist who thrives in an academically rigorous environment. Additionally, you will facilitate two Key Stage 4 STEM lessons per week with fully provided resources. Please note that as this is a short-term temporary contract requiring immediate subject-specialist expertise at A-Level, we are unable to consider ECTs. You will join a very friendly department with two outstanding technicians attached: one supporting Food Tech lessons and another working with Product Design.
