YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a management consultant who specialises in product-centric transformation and product coaching. This dynamic role requires product management expertise and a consultancy mindset. You will be required to balance business knowledge and stakeholder management with an understanding of product transformation.

As part of the role, you will:

• Engage with clients to define and shape their transformation strategies
• Design and implement product operating models
• Design and manage change management activities to support implementation
• Mentor and coach other product managers

We are in the Digital Excellence tribe, part of Capgemini Invent's Business Technology unit. Our team is a growing and dynamic community of digital professionals. We're passionate about user-centred design, critical thinking, and innovative digital services and products.

WHAT YOU"LL DO:

Product-centric transformation

• Partner with senior client stakeholders to define and shape product transformation strategies.
• Support the end-to-end transformation.
• Assess current-state capabilities and design future-state product operating models.
• Lead discovery and framing sessions to align transformation goals with business outcomes.
• Champion the adoption of Agile and product-centric delivery models and standards of re-use.
• Align with business goals to improve processes, user experience, and scale efficiencies.

Product Operating Model Design

• Define and implement product-centric structures, roles, and governance models.
• Introduce and embed agile, lean, and DevOps practices tailored to client contexts.
• Support the shift from project to product funding and delivery models.

Change Leadership

• Act as a change agent to influence mindset shifts across business and technology teams.
• Design and deliver enablement programs to upskill client teams in product management and agile delivery.
• Coach product managers, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

Delivery Oversight

• Oversee the delivery of transformation roadmaps, ensuring measurable progress and value realisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and scale new ways of working.
• Track KPIs and OKRs to monitor transformation success.
• Community and practice development.
• Actively contribute to Capgemini Invent’s product community of practice.
• Share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage in business development activities.
• Help shape the future of our practice and contribute to the wider growth of Capgemini Invent.

Future trends and innovation

• Support design and delivery approaches to the transformation and optimization of product management
• Guide clients in leveraging AI and automation to enhance product functionality, streamline development processes, and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Embrace emerging technologies such as machine learning, blockchain, and IoT to further innovate product solutions.
• Support delivery of user experiences that reflect Capgemini Invent's commitment to user-centric design.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

We’d love to meet someone with:

• Proven experience leading product-centric transformations across public and private sector organisations.
• Deep understanding of agile, lean, and product management principles.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing and implementing product operating models.
• Ability to influence and coach at all levels.
• Hands-on experience in implementing Agile and DevOps methodologies in legacy environments.
• Familiarity with addressing complex challenges and business needs through tailored approaches.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a track record of building lasting relationships.
• Experience coaching and mentoring product owners, implementing product ways of working and operating models.
• Leadership experience and practical knowledge of project management and financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Miro and Confluence.

Ideally you will also have:

• Experience with clients undergoing organisational redesign alongside technology transformations.
• Knowledge of industry trends and their impact on business strategies
• Relevant Agile (e.g. Scrum Alliance), IT service management and/or project management certifications.
• Experience in a people or line management role.
