CPCS Slingers x 2 - Avonmouth- £20.00

VGC Group are looking for 2 experienced Slinger to start on a Civil Engineering project in Avonmouth. This contract is available 29th September.

Role: Slinger
Location: Avonmouth
Salary: £20 per hour CIS
Duration: 6 Months +
Hours: 10 hour Shifts with potential for 12 hour shifts
Contract: Full time
Experience: 2 years +
Qualifications: CPCS Blue. Safety Critical Medical will be provided.
Role: Initial slinging of lifts from a mobile crane working with another slinger and a Lift Supervisor prior to multiple cranes being installed on site.

Your role as a Slinger will be based in Avonmouth and will consist of:

Ensure tasks are performed efficiently and correctly.
Take part in regular team meetings and briefings to communicate project updates and safety protocols.
Take part in regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols to minimize risk and prevent accidents.
Ensure that materials and equipment are used efficiently and maintained properly.
Maintain clear and effective communication with workers, site managers, and other stakeholders.
Handle any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time, including timesheets, permits, and inspection reports.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
