Our client, an elite US City law firm is seeking to recruit a junior solicitor (NQ-1 PQE) into its highly regarded Financial Restructuring team in London. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most prestigious practices in the market, known for its involvement in complex, high-value cross-border restructurings.

This role offers exposure to some of the most sophisticated restructuring matters globally. The team regularly advises creditors including hedge funds, bondholders, institutional lenders, secondary market investors, and creditor committees on distressed and special situations across a wide range of sectors.

You will be working alongside some of the most respected lawyers in the field, gaining early responsibility and direct client contact. Associates are trusted with substantive work from the outset and supported by a collaborative and high-performing team structure.

Candidate Requirements

• NQ-1 PQE, with at least six months’ experience in a leading restructuring seat. March 2026 NQ’s will be considered if the have already completed a 6-month seat in restructuring.
• Ideally Trained at a Magic Circle or elite US City law firm
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine interest in financial restructuring and distressed investing
• Confidence working with sophisticated financial institution clients
