Wordings Specialist – Lloyd’s Market (Syndicate / Carrier)

This is one of those rare opportunities to take ownership of how coverage is expressed, negotiated, and delivered across a market-leading Lloyd’s Syndicate.

We’re partnered with a high-performing and consistently top-quartile carrier looking for a Wordings Specialist to join their respected Legal & Wordings team.

In this role, you’ll work across multiple lines of business – supporting Underwriters, Brokers, and Clients to ensure clarity, compliance, and contract certainty across every policy. You’ll draft and refine wordings, develop clause libraries, resolve coverage queries, and be at the centre of how underwriting intent turns into policy language.

We’re looking for someone with

• Strong Lloyd’s Market experience (from a Syndicate, Broker, or MGA environment)
• Proven ability to draft and interpret complex policy wordings and clauses
• Excellent communication skills – able to bridge legal precision with commercial understanding
• Meticulous attention to detail and sound knowledge of contract certainty and PBQA processes
• A collaborative mindset – someone who enjoys being the go-to person for clarity and solutions

You’ll work closely with senior specialists, contribute to wording development across multiple product lines, and play a genuine part in shaping how this Syndicate operates.
