Premises Manager - Camden
A well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Camden is seeking an experienced and proactive Premises Manager to lead the management and development of the school’s site and facilities. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role within the support staff structure.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the premises team, including caretaking and site staff.
Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and development of school buildings and grounds.
Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, including fire safety, risk assessments, and statutory checks.
Managing site security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control.
Overseeing contractors on site and managing service level agreements.
Supporting capital projects, refurbishments, and planned maintenance programmes.
Managing premises budgets and monitoring expenditure effectively.
Ensuring the school site is prepared for lettings, events, and examinations.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in premises, facilities, or estates management (school experience desirable).
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Experience managing staff and external contractors.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to operational demands.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
