The role & expectations for the KS2 Teacher
The KS2 Teacher will plan challenging, coherent sequences across the KS2 curriculum, promote discussion and reasoning, and run focused interventions to secure rapid progress. The KS2 Teacher will work with subject leads to develop provision and will model good practice within the phase. From January 2026 , the KS2 Teacher will be supported by a school leadership team that values growth and teacher wellbeing.

Candidate essentials — KS2 Teacher
• QTS and proven KS2 experience as the KS2 Teacher .
• A KS2 Teacher who uses assessment skilfully to inform next steps and interventions.
• A collaborative, reflective KS2 Teacher who will attend CPD and planning in the weeks before January 2026 and teach as a Full-Time KS2 Teacher from January 2026 .
