We're partnering with a highly respected and ambitious accountancy firm in London that is continuing to grow. They're now looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within the business.
It's a genuine opportunity to:
- Take ownership of a diverse, high-quality client portfolio
- Work closely with Partners on strategic and commercial matters
- Combine audit, accounts and tax exposure in a broad, impactful role
- Progress clearly towards Director level
What you will be doing as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager:
- Lead audit assignments from planning to sign-off
- Oversee and review statutory accounts under FRS102 and IFRS
- Manage complex consolidated accounts (groups, LLPs, partnerships)
- Review Corporation Tax computations and returns (CT600)
- Provide technical leadership across audit, accounts and tax matters
- Act as the key point of contact for your portfolio
- Lead and mentor Managers, Seniors and junior staff
- Present findings and recommendations directly to clients
- Identify risks and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions
- Support Partners with tenders, proposals and new business development
What you will need to succeed as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or international equivalent)
- Strong background across both audit and accounts within practice
- Working knowledge of Corporation Tax and wider tax principles
- Experience managing your own client portfolio
- Confidence reviewing complex technical work
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS
- Commercial mindset and proactive problem-solving ability
- Natural leadership skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
