Operations Director
£95,000 – £135,000 + package The Company A well-established fit out contractor delivering high-quality commercial projects across London is looking to appoint an Operations Director to lead delivery across the business. This contractor has a strong reputation for programme certainty, quality finishes, and long-term client relationships. With an expanding workload and repeat frameworks in place, the business is strengthening its senior leadership team to ensure operational excellence keeps pace with growth. The Operations Director will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the business, managing multiple project teams and ensuring consistency across delivery, safety, quality, and client experience. Projects typically range from £1m to £15m, delivered across office, mixed-use, and specialist interiors sectors. Key responsibilities include: * Overall responsibility for operational delivery across all live projects * Leadership and development of Project Managers and Contracts Managers * Ensuring programme, quality, and H&S standards are met consistently * Resource planning and workload management * Working closely with the Commercial Director and Pre-Construction teams * Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients Ideal background: * Senior operational leadership experience within a fit out contractor * Strong understanding of London-based project delivery * Proven ability to manage multiple teams and complex programmes * Clear, decisive leadership style with strong people management skills
