Junior Legal Counsel (Compliance, Europe)

We are currently looking for a Junior+ Legal Counsel to support our our European Regional Compliance.
What You Will Be Doing:
Regulatory Advisory & Implementation
Provide legal advice on AML/CFT and other KYC-related frameworks in the EU, including the EU AML Package (AMLR), eIDAS and regional industry-specific requirements.
Support implementation of regulatory changes into internal policies, controls, and product requirements.
Participating in regulatory initiatives (e.g., AMLR adoption, licensing frameworks).
Interpret and translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Regional Legal Support
Cover EU region with high regulatory update velocity.
Address compliance queries from internal teams (Product, Sales, Partnerships).
Provide legal input on jurisdiction-specific risks, such as regulatory exposure.
Collaborate with other regional/product compliance teams to support global initiatives and cross-border regulatory alignments.
Policy & Documentation
Draft, review, and maintain internal compliance policies, marketing materials and external-facing documentation.
Ensure consistency and defensibility of legal positions in the EU region.
Support audits and regulatory inquiries with clear legal justifications.
About You:
2–4 years of experience in legal/compliance roles (fintech, regtech, financial institutions, or law firms).
Knowledge of EU AML/CFT framework (AMLDs, AMLR) and local EU regulations.
Strong analytical and drafting skills.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn about and support regulatory matters outside of the EU when needed.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
