Biology Teacher - Brent | Independent Senior School
We are working with a leading independent school in Brent recruiting for a Biology Teacher. This role is perfect for a subject specialist who thrives in a practical-heavy, inquiry-based learning environment.
The Role You will teach Biology across all key stages, utilizing university-standard laboratories. The role focuses on developing students' scientific literacy and practical skills through a curriculum that goes beyond the standard national requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Biology from KS3 through to A-Level
Managing lab-based practicals with the support of a dedicated technician team
Leading the school’s Medical Society for students interested in healthcare careers
Participating in the school’s pastoral care system and co-curricular program
Tracking and reporting on student progress using the school’s internal data systems
