The Role

Music is the heartbeat of this school, and you will be responsible for fostering a love of sound across all key stages.

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach engaging KS3 lessons and deliver high-quality GCSE and A-Level Music (or BTEC Level 3).

• Extra-Curricular Leadership: Lead school choirs, orchestras, or contemporary bands, and coordinate seasonal concerts.

• Modern Integration: Utilize Music Technology (Logic Pro, Sibelius, or GarageBand) to engage students in modern composition.

• Diverse Repertoire: Incorporate a wide range of genres, from classical and jazz to grime, world music, and pop.

The Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A degree in Music and a recognized teaching qualification.

• Instrumental Proficiency: Strong keyboard or guitar skills are highly desirable for classroom demonstrations.
