This Grad TA role is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to further their career by entering the teaching profession and gaining valuable classroom experience. Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a similar role would be desirable, and a degree would be essential for this position.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be:
- Supporting and assisting students both 1:1 and in small groups
- Planning and delivering learning interventions and tuition sessions
- Supporting students with SEND within an inclusive learning environment
- Providing support for students with EHCPs and/or IEPs, helping them to reach their targets
- Assisting with the delivery of a broad and exciting curriculum
- Supporting EAL students, implementing strategies to help improve their English skills, including reading, writing, speech and comprehension
- Passionate about childcare and education
- Supporting the class teacher
- Working full time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:45pm
The successful Grad TA will be committed to a long term Teaching Assistant position to start immediately and expected to last until the end of the academic year in July. This will give you the opportunity to be a part of the school community, joining a team of likeminded friendly staff and building rapport with children and staff alike.
