As a Music Teacher at St Aloysius RC College, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in music theory to secondary school students. You will inspire pupils’ creativity, develop their understanding of musical concepts, and support their overall academic progress within the curriculum framework. Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably with Key Stage 3 students
- Strong knowledge of music theory principles and ability to communicate these clearly
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage young learners
- Good organisational skills for lesson planning, assessment, and record keeping
- Ability to use educational technology effectively as part of teaching practice Values and Attitudes:
