Director - Financial Services Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Director to help lead our Financial Services Consulting practice. This senior role will drive client engagements across banking, insurance and fintech, shape service offerings, and lead a high-performing team to deliver measurable value.
What you’ll do
FS Sector Leadership: Play a leading role in setting the vision and strategy for our Financial Services practice, aligned to market trends and client needs.
Business Development & Growth: Own sales targets, lead major pursuits, and develop and expand service offerings across procurement, digital transformation and Third Party Risk Management for FS clients.
Client Delivery: Oversee delivery of high-impact programmes, ensuring excellent client outcomes in procurement transformation, TPRM and technology enablement.
Stakeholder Management: Build and manage senior relationships with C-suite and Board-level executives across banking, insurance and asset management.
Thought Leadership: Develop and present insights on FS procurement, TPRM and technology trends, internally and externally.
Commercial Management: Ensure project profitability, effective resource utilisation and delivery against financial targets.
What you’ll bring
Proven track record of senior delivery in financial services consulting or senior in-house leadership delivering procurement, transformation, cost optimisation, digital transformation or Third Party Risk Management.
Deep sector knowledge across banking, insurance or fintech, with an understanding of regulatory drivers, risk frameworks and market dynamics.
Strong commercial acumen and experience building robust financial models, business cases and benefit realisation approaches.
Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience engaging board-level stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and developing talent within a consultancy or professional services environment.
Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven track record in business development, including proposal leadership and client pursuit.
