About Us:
Urban Forest Arboriculture is a professional tree surgery company delivering high-quality arboricultural services across London and the surrounding areas. We take pride in our safe, efficient work and strong client relationships. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Groundsperson / Second Climber to join our team.
The Role:
This position is suited to someone with previous experience in tree work — either groundwork or basic climbing. You’ll support the lead climber on site, assist with rigging, chipping, and site clear-ups, and help ensure each job runs smoothly.
We provide ongoing climbing training and development, giving you the chance to move from groundwork into more technical climbing and pruning over time. We’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, works safely, and wants to progress within a well-organised, growing team.

Preferred Skills
Requirements:
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Some experience in tree surgery or outdoor work is a bonus, but not required
CS30 & CS31 preferred (Chainsaw Maintenance and Felling), but training can be provided
CS38 (Climbing & Aerial Rescue) is helpful but not essential
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
