Lead Nurse

Our client, a dynamic healthcare organisation in South East London, is searching for a Lead Nurse to join their Substance Misuse team in South East London. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £53,000 per annum, along with a range of attractive benefits. As a Lead Nurse in Substance Misuse Services, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses providing care to service users with complex needs.
- Ensure the service meets all CQC and national quality standards.
- Support detox programmes and clinical interventions with prescribing teams.
- Promote harm reduction strategies, including BBV screening and immunisation.
- Act as a point of escalation for safeguarding concerns and clinical risks.
- Contribute to staff development through supervision and training.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Participate in service development and clinical audits.
Package and Benefits:
The Lead Nurse role comes with an attractive package, including:
- Annual salary of £49,000 - £53,000.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Nurse position will:
- Be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Have strong clinical experience in substance misuse, community health, or mental health.
- Be confident in managing a team and leading on clinical best practice.
- Understand harm minimisation, detox processes, and BBV care.
- Be skilled in managing complex caseloads while maintaining high standards of care.
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
