The role

Marketing here is about half-built. There is a team of three, an organic engine publishing every week and ranking for terms that matter, paid running across Google, LinkedIn and Meta, and pipeline arriving from both self-serve signups and enterprise sales. None of it is mature, and the pieces do not yet add up to a system.

That is the appeal. The strategy is genuinely unwritten, and whoever writes it will not have to unpick five years of someone else's decisions first.

You will own growth end to end and report to the CEO. You will also keep running paid acquisition yourself, because we want a leader whose judgment is still calibrated by doing the work.

What you'll own

• The pipeline number, across self-serve and enterprise. You set the targets with us, then you hit them.

• Paid acquisition, personally: Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and the CAC that comes out of them.

• Organic growth: SEO, content, and how AI assistants answer questions about our category.

• Conversion across the funnel, and the handoff where the self-serve motion meets the sales motion.

• Product marketing: positioning, launches, and the messaging sales carries into the room.

• A team of three, and the call on who joins it next.

What we're looking for

• You have carried a pipeline number at a B2B SaaS company, for long enough to know what happened to it. In practice that tends to mean six years or more.

• You have built and run paid accounts yourself, recently enough that you would back your own judgment over an agency's.

• You have a real point of view on organic growth and on how AI search is changing it.

• You have managed two to four people, including the parts nobody enjoys.

• You are comfortable in both a self-serve funnel and an enterprise sales cycle, because we run both and they pull in different directions.

• You report the number that went the wrong way before anyone has to ask.

Nice to have: time at a performance agency or a high-volume growth team before going in-house; launching into new markets; work somewhere near AI, content creation, L&D or HR tech.
