Finance Assistant - Peckham, Southwark - January 2026

A dynamic and community-driven 11–18 secondary school in Peckham is seeking a diligent and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join its busy Business & Operations team from January 2026 . The Role

Working as part of the school’s central finance function, you will support day-to-day financial administration and ensure smooth running of financial systems. Responsibilities include:

• Processing purchase orders, invoices and payments
• Managing supplier queries and reconciling statements
• Supporting payroll preparation and staffing cost reports
• Monitoring departmental budgets and flagging discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate financial records in line with audit requirements
• Supporting the Finance Manager during year-end processes
