Job Summary

To drive viewings, reservations and sales across multiple new homes developments on our patch through great relationship building, attentive buyer management and an unrivalled level of customer service. Based in our dedicated new homes office, the successful candidate will spend their time across a real mix of activities, hosting buyers in the office, telephone work to generate and follow up enquiries, accompanying viewings at our developments, supporting launch days, managing pipelines and looking after applicants throughout their journey. No two days are the same, one day you might be running viewings at a new launch in Pinner, the next meeting applicants interested in a scheme in Ealing and helping reservations progress through to exchange. The individual will bring energy, initiative and a genuine interest in new homes, and will have the ability to add real value to the office and company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Look after enquiries and applicants across all of our live new homes developments, helping them find the scheme that's right for them

  • Welcome buyers into the office for appointments and consultations, and accompany them on viewings at active sites and show homes across the patch

  • Carry out telephone work to follow up enquiries, qualify buyers, book viewings and keep in touch with registered applicants across the database

  • Cross sell between developments where appropriate, so every buyer is matched to the most suitable schemes on our patch

  • Keep applicants updated on new releases, price changes, incentives and launch events, through a mix of in person meetings, calls, emails and follow ups

  • Support launch days, open house events and developer marketing events, representing the schemes on site

  • Guide buyers through the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to reservation, exchange and legal completion

  • Use the office computer system to record appointments, log activity, capture feedback and update developer reports

  • Work towards targets set by manager for viewings booked, reservations, exchanges and FS leads

  • Liaise with developer clients, providing regular updates on activity, viewing numbers, buyer feedback and sales progress

  • Negotiate between developer and buyer to achieve a successful reservation and sale

  • Plot progression to successful exchange and completion, working closely with solicitors, mortgage brokers and developers

  • Visit sites regularly to stay close to stock, build, finishes and the buyer experience, so every conversation is informed and credible

  • Keep up to date with the local new homes market, competing schemes and pricing across the patch

What are we looking for?

  • A natural relationship builder, comfortable engaging with buyers in person, by email and over the phone

  • Confident on the telephone, with the ability to generate appointments and viewings from the database

  • Proactive and organised, happy to take the initiative and manage your own pipeline of buyers

  • Knowledge of the new homes market, including the ability to discuss specifications, incentives, reservation processes and Help to Buy successor schemes with confidence

  • Comfortable handling multiple developments at once, holding the detail of several schemes in your head and recommending the right one to the right buyer

  • Self-motivated and target driven, with the discipline to manage a busy pipeline across several sites

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a warm and professional manner

  • Able to build rapport quickly and develop long standing relationships with buyers and developer clients

  • Willing to work weekends, including launch days and open house events

  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel between developments across the patch

What we offer you

  • A varied role that combines office based work with time out on site, accompanied viewings and launch events

  • Exposure to a broad range of developments, developers and price points across the patch, giving you plenty to talk about and plenty to sell

  • Proven track record for career growth and advancement within the company

  • Market leading training and ongoing professional development

  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and commission structure

  • Quarterly and yearly awards

  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme

  • Generous Holiday allowance, increasing by 1 day per year based on service up to an additional 5 days holiday per year
