SEN TA - Waltham Forest
A supportive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a caring and proactive SEN TA to join their team from January 2026. This SEN TA role in Waltham Forest will begin January 2026, with a structured induction and handover arranged before January 2026 to ensure a confident start. The SEN TA will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

Working across the school in Waltham Forest, the SEN TA will provide in-class and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum and promote independence. The SEN TA will assist with implementing personalised strategies, supporting emotional regulation and encouraging positive learning behaviours. Responsibilities
Provide targeted classroom and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
Assist in delivering personalised learning strategies and interventions.
Support emotional regulation, communication and social development.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN leadership across Waltham Forest.
Promote inclusion and pupil wellbeing throughout the school day.
Person specification
Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
Calm, patient and empathetic approach to learning support.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow guidance.
Available to start January 2026, attend induction and be fully in post from January 2026.
