Responsibilities
- Deliver stimulating and comprehensive History teaching across all Key Stages (3-5), including specialist modules at A-Level focusing on academic depth.
- Commit fully to developing pupils' critical thinking, source analyse, and sophisticated essay writing skills.
- Actively participate in departmental development, sharing expertise and contributing to external examination marking (desirable).
- Provide rigorous academic guidance and support to individual pupils, contributing to high rates of university entrance.
- Take on pastoral responsibility within a section of the school as a dedicated History Teacher.
Requirements
- A degree in History and demonstrable experience teaching high-achieving pupils (QTS/PGCE preferred).
- Proven track record of strong classroom management and fostering a highly motivated learning environment.

- The ability to run or contribute to co-curricular activities (e.g., historical society, Model United Nations).
