YOUR TASKS:
We are looking for a graduate with a strong quantitative and technical background to help build next-generation research tools within the European Capital Goods team, leveraging an extensive database of economic and company specific data. You will hold a genuine interest in institutional investment and how institutional fund managers use research.
Key Responsibilities
Support financial modelling, valuation work and industry analysis, maintain and develop sector databases, integrating market, company and macroeconomic data.
Assist in producing written research, presentations and client materials.
Monitor news flow, macro trends and earnings across the European capital goods sector.
Develop and maintain automated workflow systems pulling from financial databases and public sources to speed the delivery of industrial and corporate insights, tailored to fund manager and analyst needs.
Apply AI and machine-learning tools to accelerate data extraction, sentiment monitoring, and screening processes.
Enhance existing valuation models and assist in creation of new analytical frameworks.
Support research output with high-quality charts, dashboards, and automated reporting.
YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
Degree in data science, computer science, engineering, finance or similar.
Strong programming capability (Python, SQL) and readiness to work with APIs, AI agents and automation tools.
Excellent numerical reasoning and competence in Excel modelling.
Interest in equity markets, corporate finance and a good understanding of financial statements, basic valuation methods and the institutional investment landscape.
Self-starter with the ability to experiment, iterate and problem-solve independently.
You are seeking up to a 1 year internship to gain valuable direct experience in a demanding finance work environment.
You are fluent in English and may have achieved a proficient level in a second European language.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews (both fit and technical questions).
