Subject to formal establishment Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for a OF4 to serve as OF4 International 7 at Northwood Headquarters on FTRS (LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 01 Mar 26.
Unit Function. Coordination and coherence of CSOCs international engagement.
Position Role. Specialising in Command-level coherence and coordination into NATO and with key European bilateral partners across the breadth of CSOC responsibilities (specialist operations including medical intelligence cyber & EM C4I and education).
Theincumbentwilllead onpromotingCommand-levelcoherence on NATOin line with SDRacross the range ofCSOCactivity (specialist operations including medical; intelligence; Cyber; C4I; and education);anddeveloping keyEuropeanbilateral relationships(particularlyFrance Germany Poland and Norway)to influence Alliance direction.
- Drive coherence across HQ and sub-orgs on all aspects of NATO / key European relationships (including France Germany Poland and Norway).
- Provide written and oral briefing toComd andDComdin advance of NATO events;assistwith support into 2* SLTas needed.
- Leadondeveloping the Commands overall network in and understanding of NATO focusing onUKDel UKLOs SHAPEACTJFCsas directed by AHInternational.
- Provide military advice andexpertiseto civilian colleagues within the International Team where relevant.
- Support International Team colleagues on non-NATO business for examplelarge scale events such as inbound bilateral Staff Talks.
- Be prepared to travel overseas for up to 35 days per year in support of HQ (ComdDComdand HQ 2*s) HLIE/SLIE visits when relatedto NATOGermanyand France.
- Deputise for AH international Engagement asrequired.
