What you will do:

* Assess and treat adult patients with communication and swallowing impairments within acute and critical care settings.

* Develop and implement personalised treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

* Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand impairments and treatment processes.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with NHS guidelines.

* Work independently to manage your caseload, ensuring all patients receive the attention and care they need.

Requirements:

* A degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.

* Recent post-qualification experience in a UK/NHS setting as a Speech and Language Therapist.

* Proficiency in independently managing a caseload of adult patients with communication and swallowing issues.

* Desirable competencies include experience with tracheostomy, VFS, and FEES.
