Human Factors Engineering Graduate 2026 (Immediate Start - Croydon)

You will be joining our Human Factors team based in the railways division and will optimise human well-being and overall system performance of predominately railways in order to improve comfort, health, safety and productivity.

We also work on projects in a range of other sectors such as nuclear and aviation and the public realm. In this role, you will incorporate the three main fields of ergonomics: physical, cognitive, and organisational.

You will be working on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects providing services including:

  • Control room design
  • Workload assessment
  • Human error analysis
  • Human reliability analysis
  • HMI design
  • Wayfinding
  • Accessibility
  • Behavioural insights
  • Human factors integration

Candidate Specification

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024), in one of the following degree disciplines:

  • Ergonomics
  • Psychology
  • Human factors or any related discipline
