Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Fire Alarm Servicing + PPMs | Commercial Building Services | London / M25 region | £38,000 - £42,000 | NO CALL OUT | Paid Weekly.

We are actively recruiting for a Fire Alarm Servicing Engineer who would also be open to carrying out general planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across commercial properties in/around the London region. As the Fire Alarm Service Engineer / PPM Engineer, you will visit 1 to 2 sites per day, complete a full fire alarm service and related site PPMs (planned preventative maintenance) ie: fire extinguisher service, emergency light testing, PAT testing, tap temperature tests etc. You will be working across a mix of commercial environments such as pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, retail stores etc.

Employment Package Summary:

* Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer / PPM Engineer

* Base Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.

* Expected earnings: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.

* Status: Permanent, PAYE - Paid Weekly.

* Hours: Monday - Friday, 06:00am - 3:00pm.

* Duties: Fire Alarm Servicing, fire alarm tests, fire extinguisher servicing, emergency lighting tests, flick tests, PAT testing, tap temperature tests etc.

* Location: London / M25 region - usually 1 to 2 sites per day.

* Paid overtime available: x1.5 rate until midnight, x2 rate overnight. Available night works for requested out of hours PPMs upon occasion.

* Call out rota: NO CALL OUT.

* Provided: Company van, fuel card, uniform, phone, specialist tools etc.

* On the job training, up-skilling and company funded courses provided.

Requirements:

To be considered for this Fire Alarm Service Engineer / PPM Engineer role, we would expect you to meet the following requirements:

* Must hold experience carrying out full fire alarm servicing within commercial environments / on commercial systems.

* Expected to hold relevant fire alarm qualifications. (FIA unit 1 / FIA unit 5 etc).

* City and Guilds 18th edition would be highly preferable.

* Experience carrying out building services PPMs would be highly preferable, ie: Emergency lighting tests, PAT testing etc.

* Must hold a UK driving license with under 9 points.

* Must be able to pass a DBS background check.
