Role Overview
The Attendance Officer will be responsible for monitoring student attendance, liaising with parents and staff, and supporting pastoral teams to improve student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately record and update daily attendance data
• Follow up on absences and late arrivals with parents/carers
• Produce attendance reports for senior leaders
• Work closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams
• Support strategies to improve punctuality and attendance
Requirements
• Experience in school administration or attendance roles (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and IT proficiency
• Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
