Nursery Practitioner
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Forest Gate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners. YOU MUST HOLD A LEVEL 2 OR 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE / EARLY YEARS OR EQUIVILANT FOR THIS ROLE. Salary : £25,795 - £27,000 per annum Location : Forest Gate Hours: 40 hours over Monday to Friday Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
- Follow the EYFS practice
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs.
- Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and development.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
