Primary SEN Teacher - Immediate Start West London

A well-regarded West London school is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a small group of pupils in a highly supportive environment.

The senior leadership team is hands-on and supportive, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Class sizes are small, with mixed-ability pupils and a strong emphasis on tailored learning and emotional development.

Role Highlights

• Teach a small group of 6 pupils with the support of a dedicated LSA
• Develop and deliver personalised learning plans based on EHCP targets
• Foster a safe, engaging, and trauma-informed classroom environment
• Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families to ensure holistic progress
• Track pupil progress and contribute to multi-agency reviews
• Promote independence, emotional regulation, and social skills
• Uphold safeguarding and compliance standards at all times

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not suitable for ECTs
• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist or primary setting
• Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and behaviour support strategies
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and reflective practice
• Commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed approaches
