Apprentice Technician
Description
Join our first-of-its-kind Craft Apprenticeship Programme. Over three years, you’ll gain hands-on experience across departments, learn ancient crafts, and work with expert makers—building technical skills whilst learning business skills and a strong foundation for a future in contemporary craft and design.
In your foundation year, you’ll get a 360-degree view of Cox London and Guild Bespoke Metalworks, with hands-on training from warehouse and production to commercial sales and finance, alongside learning ancient crafts. You’ll also benefit from an accredited external Business Skills course. At the end of the first year, you’ll be assessed in specialist areas (Fabrication, Patination, Wiring, and Foundry) and choose one area to specialise in during years two and three.
Combining on-the-job, hands-on training (4 days/week) with studying (1 day/week), you’ll engage with mentors, managers, and a close-knit community daily, who will support your journey and provide the guidance and insight you need to thrive. For more information, please visit our website.
