Roadside Technician – Join Our Patrol Division

Are you ready to keep the UK moving? As a Roadside Technician you’ll combine technical expertise with outstanding member service, working from the comfort of your own driveway and responding to breakdowns across the country.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Handle a variety of calls – from flat batteries and tyre changes to complex fault‑finding.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions while reassuring members during stressful situations.
• Maintain and operate your own service van, equipped with a fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit.
• Start and finish each day at home, managing demand‑led shifts that average 40 hours per week (overtime optional).

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• A customer‑focused mindset and strong communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Working Conditions

• Competitive base salary of £41,600 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance where applicable).
• Realistic OTE of £66,000 , with top performers earning significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
• Demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime.
