Senior Capital Analyst

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Capital Analyst to join a leading insurer’s Group Capital Management function. This role is ideal for someone with strong Solvency II knowledge and experience in capital modelling and regulatory reporting within the GI Insurance sector. The Role You’ll play a key part in supporting the calculation, analysis, and reporting of Solvency II Standard Formula capital, as well as producing forward looking capital projections and contributing to regulatory submissions, ORSA's and Board materials. Key responsibilities include: Supporting annual Solvency II capital reporting and multi-year projections. Monitoring solvency ratios and advising senior management on capital efficiency. Preparing materials for regulatory and audit submissions. Supporting production of ORSAs, risk profiles, and business plans. Leading validation and documentation work for model specialisms. Promoting model understanding and use across the business. Coaching and mentoring junior team members. Identifying and implementing process or modelling improvements. About You We’re looking for someone with: Experience in the non-life insurance industry and strong understanding of general insurance principles. Proven Solvency II knowledge and experience interpreting capital model results. Understanding of internal model and regulatory capital requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Progress toward a relevant actuarial qualification Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Why Apply?
