Senior React Developer

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Engineering Director you’ll be involved in:
Developing an exceptional user experience for a rapidly growing business critical SaaS product using React, Typescript and the latest versions of associated frameworks.
Technically hands on, devoting at least 90% of the working week to software development or technical tasks
Collaborating with your squad and other key colleagues to help plan and implement designs and technical requirements.
Able to take on some of the more complex and challenging tasks in the development backlog.
Takes responsibility for their own output which should adhere to best practices and tested to a high-quality with timely delivery.
Participating in the technical decision making for the product.
Assist junior colleagues with their development work, pairing to co-solve challenges and promoting best practice design patterns.
Participate in building the Reapit Global Technology Strategy, based around a centralised Platform as a Service (PaaS), shared tools and services like Reapit Connect, Elements, Design System, CLI Tools and Infra as a Service (IaaS).
Who we’re looking for

5+ years’ industry experience in frontend engineering, developing components and responsive web applications with a focus on React, Typescript and the React/JavaScript eco-system.
In-depth knowledge of frontend fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, Web Accessibility and browsers.
Expert using modern test frameworks such as React Testing Library and Playwright.
Comfortable working in a cross-functional Agile team and collaborating with designers.
Good problem-solving ability, attention to detail and able to break down complex work into deliverable chunks.
